A man went into a store and bought an umbrella for $10. He gave the salesperson a $50 bill. The salesperson went to the bank to get change. Two hours later, the bank teller went to the store claiming that the $50 bill was counterfeit, so the salesperson had to exchange it for a real one with the bank teller. Joe and his wife Betty Ann waited in their driveway for an opening in the heavy traffic. "It's like this every morning," grumbled Joe. "I sit here for five minutes just waiting to get into the waiting traffic." "Don't get so uptight," warned Betty Ann, "you've got to watch your ulcer."
Spotting an opening Joe backed the little sports car onto the road and quickly threw it into first gear squealing the tires as he took off.
"Take it easy," warned Betty Ann. "So what are you making for dinner tonight?" inquired Joe. "Reservations," mumbled Betty Ann looking out her window.
A short time later Joe drove through an intersection and crashed head on into a garbage truck that had just run a red light. Joe flew through the windshield. Betty Ann, who was unhurt, was almost hysterical while she tried to dial 911.
When asked exactly where the accident occurred Betty Ann couldn't say. Why not?

What nursery rhyme is this? A human female, extremely captious and given to opposed behavior, was questioned as to the dynamic state of her cultivated tract of land used for the production of various types of flora. The tract components were enumerated as argentous tone-producing agents, a rare species of oceanic growth, and pulchritudinous young females situated in a linear orientation.

Mary Mary, Quite Contrary

Can you solve this medieval riddle? Christ, the true giver of victories, created me for combat. When my lord urged me to fight, I often scorch mortals; I approach the earth and, without a touch, afflict a huge host of people. At times I gladden the minds of men, keeping my distance I console those whom I fought before; they feel my kindness as they once felt my fire when, after such suffering, I soothe their lives.

The Sun

Can you solve this medieval riddle? Sea suckled me, waves sounded over me, rollers covered me as I rested on my bed. I have no feet and often open my mouth to the flood. Now some man will consume me, who cares nothing for my clothing. With the point of his knife he will rip the skin away from my side, and straight away eat me uncooked as I am.

The answer is $45. In order to solve this riddle you must begin at the last store. She exited using her last dollars therefore she had to have $3 when she entered. If you continue backwards from that point, you will reach the "$45" answer.
